Ghassan Ghazal is born in 1961 in Lebanon and has lived in
Canada from 1979 until 2006. He holds a Bachelor and a Master degrees in Visual
Arts from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). His main artistic
practices are: painting, sculpture, photography, performances, and installations. Recipient of
numerous prizes, he made over 20 solo and collective installations in Canada
and abroad. His pieces are part of many private collections in Canada and
abroad. At present, he lives and teaches at the Lebanese American University in
Beirut.
